"Thinking of picking up a paintbrush for the first time or continuing with a hobby then I would strongly suggest you join Marc in one of his classes. The studio is ideally located opposite the cafe in Walton Gardens. Marc is a great teacher. He is patient, encouraging and inspiring. He is very knowledgeable snd importantly able to share this with all his students. All ages are welcome including retirees like myself who had never painted till I joined one of Marc’s Introductory courses a couple of years ago My weekly classes are now a highlight of my week I have loved exploring different techniques and Marc actively encourages us to ‘’find our own style’ In the Summer we have even tried painting outside which was great fun. Thinking about painting then sign up for a class I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed."

"What a great event, Marc is a great tutor. I have been on a couple of Marc’s courses and enjoyed them thoroughly. They are great fun, and an amazing learning experience, I can’t recommend them enough. The venue is great too, the studio is set within the heritage stable courtyard at Walton Hall Warrington. The studio is well set out, light airy and gives a really professional setting to enjoy the day. To note, not stuffy or formal, very engaging and great fun. "If you're looking for a great local art workshop with a teacher who caters to all skill levels then Turner's painting school is for you. Marc's classes are both fun and educational, whilst designed to build your confidence to paint. I opted for the 2 day beginners oil workshop, I'd painted watercolours before but didn't know where to start with oils. So glad I did, what a blast. Others on the course included absolute beginners and others like me who had some ability, Marc was able to pitch the course just right for everyone, we created some great pictures and definitely gained confidence in putting down paint!
